A collapsed radiator hose is when a hose in your cooling system appears to be pinched or crushed along the way. Bending a hose too much can make it appear crushed, even if the hose is technically sound. If you purchase a vehicle with a hose that appears crushed, the hose may simply be the wrong shape for your vehicle.

Every engine is a little different, so when troubleshooting, you need to look at the details of your particular cooling system.
